About Me
Hi, I’m Victoria — a Consultant Psychological Therapist based in North Yorkshire. I specialise in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), including Exposure Response Prevention (ERP) for Sensorimotor OCD, Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR). I work remotely with children, young people, and adults across the UK and internationally.
I bring over 24 years of experience in mental health, much of which was spent working within the NHS, including senior roles as a Nurse Consultant. Over the past decade, I’ve focused on supporting young people and adults experiencing complex difficulties such as psychosis and PTSD. My work has also involved contributing to national research, clinical pathways, and publications alongside leading experts in the fields of trauma, psychosis, and CBT.
At the heart of my approach is compassion. I aim to create a space that feels safe, steady, and supportive where we work together, at your pace, to help you build resilience and reduce the impact of psychological distress. Therapy with me is always collaborative and centred around what matters to you.

What Keeps Me Balanced
Outside of therapy, I’m a passionate horse rider and find a lot of calm and connection in time spent with animals and nature. Horses have been part of my life for as long as I can remember, and riding is something that keeps me grounded. Just as I encourage clients to find what helps them feel steady and supported, I try to do the same in my own life. Whether that’s on horseback, outdoors, or simply taking time to slow down.
